I took a break from painting bird ACEO's for a few months but decided to paint a few at the end of December to see if I wanted to get back into painting them each week. The short answer is probably not - I will probably just paint a few every now and again but not regular. I do have a lot of off cuts of paper which are the perfect size for ACEO's so I might play around with painting more ACEO landscapes.

This one was rather fun to paint. It always a bit more tricky painting feathers that are all the same colour and ended up doing quite a few glazes to get the depth to the feathers.
